Swiss Riviera Tours – S for stimulating, R for resourceful, T for tremendous. The four or us were privileged to spend 4 hours in the company of Nicolas and Lloyd who, after a most warm welcome when they picked us up, guided, informed, entertained and interested us. Excellent value for money.
We discovered Swiss Riviera Tours during the Montreux Jazz Festival and were instantly drawn to Nic’s beautiful Riva boat. The next day, we hopped on board and enjoyed one of the most scenic and memorable hours of our summer. What truly made it special was Nic’s warm personality and deep knowledge of the region. It was a highlight of our trip and we’d recommend it to anyone visiting Montreux.
We wish to thank Swiss Riviera Tours for the excellent organisation and warm welcome you gave to us all. Despite being a group of over 60 guests, you managed to make the experience both informative and intimate. The added plus of the wonderful weather and being able to watch the competitors of the Bol d’Or yacht race from the terrace of the exclusive winery where we had our lunch made the day one to remember. The tour with Swiss Riviera Tours through the Lavaux vineyard terraces was the ideal kick-off to our event in Montreux. Nicolas and his crew were able to gain the attention of our guests right from the beginning and shared their knowledge of winemaking in the region in a well-balanced mix of facts and anecdotes. They proved to be excellent hosts and entertainers and I am convinced, the tour left lasting impressions with our guests.
Swiss Riviera Tours was strongly recommended by our concierge so we made an appointment. This private adventure was a pure treat! Our guide was friendly, funny and incredibly knowledgeable about the area and the wine. We were immediately impressed by the views of the properties. The wines were delightful. My wife and I have traveled to Europe on numerous occasions. Among our favorite activities, when exploring a new country or region, are small group wine tours. We recently made our first trip to Geneva and we both felt that meeting and touring with Nic was the highlight of our visit to this incredibly beautiful part of Switzerland. Nic has an engaging and easy-going personality and he is extremely knowledgable about the history, economy and wine and food offerings of this area. Nic is a wonderful guide and there’s really no better way to see and explore the vineyards of this region! We’re anxious to return!
